About Our Production Team
Established in 2000, Our Production Team (OPT) is the longest-running full-service stills production house in New Zealand.
We’ve worked with some of the world’s finest photographers, global agencies, brands, and production companies who need a team on the ground they can trust - especially when they’re managing shoots from the other side of the world.
We understand the pressures of offshore production - tight timelines, complex logistics, and ever-changing conditions. Our job is to make those moving parts manageable, keeping things steady, practical, and transparent from the very first conversation.
At OPT, you work directly with Executive Producer Rebecca Vaughan from the initial call through to final wrap. She stays involved at every stage, ensuring communication is clear and decisions are straightforward. Whether your project is a single-day shoot or a multi-day campaign, our approach is simple: careful planning, experienced crews and production standards that meet international expectations.
REBECCA VAUGHAN, PRODUCER
With over 25 years’ experience in the industry, Rebecca was instrumental in forming the first stand-alone production company in New Zealand that specialised in photography production. Since then, she has produced hundreds of campaigns and worked with many of the world's most talented photographers.
Memorable campaigns include: GQ with Nathaniel Goldberg, Fjällräven with Lousie Whitehouse, American Vogue and Rodd & Gunn with Derek Henderson, Rebranding for North Kiteboarding & North Foils part of North Sail's Worldwide Action Sports Group, Microsoft Windows 10 with Steve McCurry, Tourism New Zealand’s ‘100% Pure’ campaigns, Animal Planet for the Discovery Channel, Sony and Ranexa’s campaigns with Andy Glass, various Icebreaker clothing campaigns with several photographers.
Rebecca understands the complex processes undertaken by advertising agencies when putting together a brief; she knows that they have been working on it day and night with countless revisions before getting it to the execution stage. Respecting that hard work, Rebecca commits 100% to guaranteeing the best production values to ensure the agency’s vision is realised. She is passionate about the industry and knows that there is no other job she’d rather be doing.
